Summary
More fun on the Potomac near Brunswick in the 1930s. In front are Eleanor Wenner, Garland Mohler, Dot Schnauffer. Wes Schnauffer is in back.
According to Tom Watson, Mr. Mohler owned a farm on the river near Bakerton, WVA, on which he had a camp that local people used. The property was about a mile up the river from the Harpers Ferry dam.
For Brunswick historians, Wes Schnauffer owned the garage at the foot of E. A Street & S. Maple Avenue. His brother William was a physician, who operated the original Schnauffer hospital above the garage before he built the larger facility on the corner of N. Virginia Avenue and W. B Street.
