New page

== Summary ==
This photo is from the 1998-99 BHS Yearbook which was dedicated to Mark Brawner who tragically passed away while undergoing some routine medical testing.
He was always warm, friendly and cheerful. Mark was a great resource for information. Just ask him a question about Brunswick, a certain family, sports, you name it, his knowledge of the subjects discussed was amazing.
Mark was a graduate of BHS and when he became the Head Custodian at the high school he took immense pride in keeping the school building and its grounds looking sharp.
He demanded a lot of those he supervised but he never asked more of them then what he demanded from himself.
I remember Mark having a keen interest in history especially about the Civil War, and he and Mr. Sell would often chat about the subject.
Ed was going to have Mark come in and talk to one of his classes about the Civil War but unfortunately Mark died before that could occur.
Mark not only had a love for history but also a keen interest in a wide variety of topics.
BHS and the community were fortunate to have such a true "Railroader" as Mark.
