St. Francis Parochial School&lt;br /&gt;
In 1896, the B&amp;amp;O Railroad donated property on 7th Ave to build St. Francis Church. The school was first located in the basement of the church. In 1906, the church moved to the corner of E. B St and 1st Ave where it currently stands. The school moved into the building behind the church that formerly housed Shenk’s Seminary. It&amp;#039;s now gone, torn down in the 1970s.&lt;br /&gt;
