The girls broke a number of bests as a team and as individuals. The team set new records in the two mile relay and the mile relay. Several individuals of the team set personal bests in the 55 hurdles, as well as in the mile and two mile runs. <br />
All these accomplishment were achieved even though team members battled with colds and the flu during the season.<br />
One thing making this a unique season was school Superintendent Dr. Farmer canceling all field trips to Baltimore due to the start of the military action known as Desert Storm.<br />
