Indoors runners do not face the weather conditions outside runners do, yet outside track on a beautiful day must surely be a pleasure not offered by indoor competition.<br />
<br />
Although team members give their all in competitions, the crowds watching are usually far smaller than those at a typical football or basketball game. However the long term upside to running track is that it is an activity the people can take well into their adult years even though they may no longer competitively :=)!<br />
