	Geri Best: When I was a young girl, I remember Piink would bring his horse and sleigh around at Christmas, he had lots of bells on it, we thought it was Santa Claus. I lived on G street. he would turn around in the middle of the street. It was an exciting time. I can hear those bells to this day. If any of your parents talked about riding ponies at Braddock Heights, MD, they were owned by Mr. Nalley. He also raised ducks and peacocks on his farm. He was a favorite of kids on Wenner's Hill and he once operated a grocery store out of the basement of his home at 707 N. Maple Avenue. It competed with Bill and Eleanor Wenner's store next door, but he and the Wenners were great friends.

Ruth E. Kennedy: Pink Nalley also had the "little horses." I used to love to watch him shoe his horses at his home. They also had a great cherry tree in his yards the kids would climb.
