The men are Harold Knott (then Brunswick High School Principal, 1954-56) and Lee Smith (later Brunswick Elementary School Principal in the 1960s). Mr. Smith was a pioneer of "the gradeless program" for BES students starting in the 1965-66 school year, before he was transferred to a Howard County school where he continued the practice. Looks like Mr. Knott is giving and Mr. Smith is receiving...
