King's opened at this location sometime in the 1980s. Please share your memories. Good food was available on this corner! Sadly the building has been gone for at least a decade. Prior to King's it was briefly home to the Blade-Times in the 1960s. Going back to the 1920s, it housed grocery stores such as Wenner's City Meat Market, White's Self Service, and John's Supermarket.
