his photo show the Senior members of the BHS Varsity Football team in 2000-01. Although it was not a winning season for the Boy’s Varsity Football team, the team did beat Walkersville and Smithburg high schools during the regular season. When asked about the season, Bobby Vivian replied – “I can sum up our season on one little sentence. It’s all good in the hood.” Nick Gordon’s take on the season was – “We worked hard, and had fun this season. Too bad it didn’t work out the way we want it.” Being in their last year of participating in high school sports, I think these Seniors would have agreed that football was a terrific vehicle to impart important life lessons on and off the field. The scoreboard was there for a reason, but it was not the most important thing. Bottom Row (L to R) – Bobby Vivian, Nick Gordon Second Row – James May, Chris Owens, Lee Sigler, Matt French Third Row – J.J. Morrison, Chris Bush, Darrell Barrow, Karl Pfistner, Adam Constock, Joe Amick Top Row – Adam Escamilla, Matt Campbell, Marcus Smith, Wes Shafer, Chad Care, Allan Webber
