Master mechanic and Brunswick baseball legend Joe Gordon. This photo was from a Brunswick Citizen news clip after he bought Hugh Cage's Auto Service in the mid-1970s. After the fire that destroyed the E. Potomac Street business, Mr. Gordon later owned and operated the gas and auto repair business on the corner of Souder Road and N. Maple Avenue for years.

Ronnie Pearl: Joe Gordon was a Friend my Coach in the 60s a man who treated his ball players like a father someone who would listen to each and every one to understand if they need advice about baseball or other issues. Mr. Gordon was a find man who love his family his town and all the people he met in his life thanks for posted this about a man I’ll never forget who left a mark in my childhood with great memories,Till we meet again
