Mr. Ephraim ran Ephraim's liquor store on E. Potomac Street for years following his father's death. Jacob Ephraim also operated a haberdashery on E. Potomac St. in the early part of the 20th century. Joan Hardy Morris: Mrs. Estella Giles Morgan worked upstairs for the family & I used to scrub the floor of the very large room upstairs at the rear, every other Saturday. I think it was somewhere in the late 40's. I was probably 11 or 12. Nov 30, 2013
