This photo is from 1983-84 and shows coach and members of the Varsity Boys Basketball Team.
The 1983-84 basketball season was characterized by excellent victories, early and late season disappointments, and nagging injuries throughout the season.
In spite of facing adversities that would have made lesser teams give up, our team continued to bounce back and improve throughout the year. Most games were very close and always hard fought.
Our team achieved a reputation throughout the county as a hustling, scrapping team because of our intense style.
I would like to offer my sincere appreciation to the players for the tremendous cooperation and effort given during the year. I would also like to say I was very proud of how our team hung together throughout the year.
