Jack McQuillen

Brunswick Distinguished Citizen 1992: From “Brunswick: 100 Years of Memories” (1980).

 Jack, the youngest of the baseball playing McQuillen brothers, began is championship baseball career in 1938 and during his pro ears his batting average was .306.  Jack’s reputation for stolen bases was well known and during his career he led two different leagues in stolen bases.  Jack has been honored in several baseball Halls of Fame.
