Brunswick People
George W. Lowery Sr. was born in his parents’ home on Gum Spring Road, Brunswick Maryland, in April 1925. He served in the Navy during World War II, returned from the Navy and worked for several years on the Railroad as a Brakeman, went to work at Fort Detrick as a plumber, and then worked for Dulles Airport as plumber until his retirement. This is a photo of dad when he was in eight grade of high school and before his death in February 1990.  (Photo Courtesy of Phil Lowery)
