Summary

Brunswick Citizen photo of a 1978 reunion of some noted Frederick County educators from our town, all of whom taught at Brunswick schools at one time.

--Superintendent Pruitt presided over the integration of the Frederick County School System in the 1950s --Dr. Wilbur Devilbiss was one-time principal of BHS in the 1930s-40s --Miss Wenner was the first woman principal in Frederick County, including Brunswick and Middletown Elementary Schools --Mr. Brady was head coach at BHS before World War II --Mrs. Deener was Mr. Brady's sister and taught Sunday School at First Methodist Church --Mrs. Gross and Miss Cain both taught at Brunswick Elementary Schools for generations --Mrs. Smith's husband was a BHS teacher & principal --Not sure of the others...
