Summary

The 1960 Brunswick Railroader Little League All Stars, which won our first ever District title 3-2 over Frederick American. This started a run of dominance for Brunswick, which won 7 district titles and 2 state championships in the 1960s.

Also of note is Calvin Lawson, who broke the BRLL color barrier in 1960. Calvin was listed as 7th among batting averages out of 51 players that season.

Butch Dixon pitched a 7-0 no hitter over Frederick National to open 1960 district play.

Joyce Miller: Grew up watching them play ball. They worked as a team and Butch Dixon (God rest his sole) tried to make it to the majors, was drafted but came back home. It's such a hard road to travel.
