Brunswick: 100 Years of Memories (1990) Feete, Charles Henry (1866-1946) Honored 1977 Charles Henry Feete established the Feete Funeral Home in 1891, and in 1902, the Brunswick Furniture Company. The furniture factory, which operated until 1918, was well known for making white oak furniture. Many people called Mr. Feete “Uncle Charlie, the Father of Brunswick” because of his active involvement in civic groups and his generosity.
