Summary
Kaplon's float at the rainy 1939 Veterans' Day Parade on the 50th anniversary of their business in Brunswick. World War II was just getting underway in Europe. When this photo was taken, Europe had been at war since September and we were a little over 2 years from Pearl Harbor (From the Myer Kaplon Photo Collection at the Brunswick Community Library; Frederick County Public Libraries Courtesy of Smoketown History
