Flanking mother and daughter are Godparents Leigh Feete and Ken Jones. The officiant that day was Father James Fenhagen, who was a young rector at Grace Church. Leigh Feete Schwertfeger and Dr. Ken Jones were honored as Distinguished Citizens of Brunswick, as was Cynthia's father, sports cartoonist Bob Grams.
