Brunswick: 100 Years of Memories (1990) McQuillen, Joseph Carl (1917- ) Honored 1986 Carl McQuillen played professional baseball in the minor leagues for both the Washington Senators and the New York Yankees, then served as manager/player in the Eastern Shore League, Tobacco State League (in North Carolina), and the Virginia League, rounding out his career as major league scout and team organizer. In 1986 he was inducted into the Frederick County Alvin G. Quinn Sports Hall of Fame.
