Mary Jane Watson: I remember this gang down at the PO... I used to walk with my grandad, "Doc" he carried the big leather bag and went up and down all those stairs and hills.

Joan Hale: I don't know if Mr. Boone was still working there at that time. I remember visiting my Mom one day at the post office and I kept hearing chirping sounds, and she set a box of baby chicks on the counter that were to go to the Brunswick Coop. I could see several dozen yellow chicks scurrying around inside through the holes in the box.
