Jacquelyn Ebersole: Callers were the railroad employees who walked the streets and hills of Brunswick calling out in a loud voice at next railroaders who needed to go to work - they called name of run, time to leave the yards with the train. And of course the railroaders name - McIntosh, the dirty shirt, 4pm.

Crystal Carey: You are correct sweetie,it later was done by phone and while I was employed at the new YMCA it was part of My job to call the railroaders in their rooms for their train numbers etc. I relayed what the railroad called the YMCA desk with
