19:30 Pwenner talk contribs uploaded File:Albaugh Chevrolet Sales.jpg(A 1930 ad for Albaugh Chevrolet, a dealership which preceded Litten's Chevrolet-Oldsmobile at the 600 W. Potomac Street location. Litten's started out on E. Potomac Street, where the former Moose Club lodge is located today. Look at those prices! Here's a little local automotive history from "Brunswick: 100 Years of Memories" (1990): The location on West Potomac Street currently occupied by King Pizza (when it was at 111 W. Potomac) was the site of the Albaugh Agency that sold Chevrolets a...)

Please share any additional observations of this scene. Judging from the cars, this is from the early 1970s. See the rooflines of the Gross Store, passenger station and YMCA on the left looking east. 19:19 Pwenner talk contribs uploaded File:Veterans Day Parade U.S. Navy Exhibit.png(This U.S. Navy exhibit featured a Navy RIM-8 Talos ramjet powered missile on a big truck as it rolled down W. Potomac Street. According to Owen Brown, the missile was first produced in 1955 and deployed in 1958. This must have been a late 1950s parade during the height of the Cold War between the U.S. and Russia. To help us date the photo, note signs for W. Potomac Street businesses such as Ideal Cleaners/Tailoring on the left side. On the right side of the street, we see a liquor store in the Harmon Building, the Maryland Dining Room (later Mrs. Himes restaurant) and a billiards parlor next to Potomac Edison.
