Wooden plank boards were placed in front of the businesses and some advertisements touted their location along "the Boardwalk in Brunswick". This station was located opposite of the current Westbound station, on the canal side of the tracks. As automobile traffic increased, passenger travel by rail decreased and the building became underutilized and fell into disrepair. After the station burned it was not replaced.
