The 1957 Chevrolet fire engine was so named because Jimmy Dean and the Texas Wildcats appeared so often at the Brunswick Fire Hall in the 1950s, the Brunswick Volunteer Fire Dept was able to buy it. According to Judge Bill Wenner, only family members were allowed to staff the cash register and drop off the daily proceeds. The store stood where the Ambulance Company resides today.
