The previous incarnations were located across from the YMCA, on the left side of the building that was the Potomac Shop & Hotel. We believe the first post office when the town the town was known as Barry, was established in 1832. Assistant coaches Gene Foltz and Butch Gaither flank head coach Herb Daugherty. The first head coach of football at Brunswick High, Coach Daugherty was starting his 3rd season. Hard to tell whether this was from the Frederick News-Post or Blade-Times. A child prodigy Brunswick youth pitcher, he once threw a no-hitter in a Little League Game in 1961.
