Brunswick People

Master mechanic and Brunswick baseball legend Joe Gordon. This photo was from a Brunswick Citizen news clip after he bought Hugh Cage's Auto Service in the mid-1970s. After the fire that destroyed the E. Potomac Street business, Mr. Gordon later owned and operated the gas and auto repair business on the corner of Souder Road and N. Maple Avenue for years.

Not incidentally, Joe was an excellent little league coach with the BRLL Tigers after making a name for himself as one of the better players on Brunswick's town teams in the 1940s and '50s
