The Very Reverend Preston Wiles, currently (in 1990) the dean of St. Matthews Episcopal Cathedral in Dallas, Texas, has had a notable career in the Protestant Episcopal church, being instrumental in the revision of the Book of Common Prayer. He has taught on the college and postgraduate levels and has authored several books.
