This photo is from 1989-1990 and shows the members of the Publications class.
Under the new class advisor Mrs. Deborah Winkles and yearbook editor Laura Garber, the class was determined to create the best BHS Yearbook ever. Of course in trying to accomplish this goal, the class endured many headaches and frustrations in their efforts of getting the yearbook sections completed in on time.
The staff started out by learning basic layout designs, typing copy, and taking lots, and lots of photos.
Since the class had to meet five deadline schedules set by the yearbook publishing company Jostens, publication members often had to come in on Sundays and work to meet these deadlines. Mrs. Winkles would bring in pizza and soda for the members to consume while they worked on the yearbook.
All in all, their hard work together paid off and the yearbook was completed on time for it to be published.
