ON-AIR” FOR BIKES FOR THE WORLD

Rotary Club of Carroll Creek Rotarians Norman Birzer, Chair of the service club’s Bikes For The World Committee, and Richard A. Foot, Immediate Past Chair of the Committee, were interviewed this morning on-air on WFMD on “The Morning Mayor Bob Miller Show” to promote the Rotary Club’s 14th Annual Community Bicycle Collection for Bikes For The World.

The Community Bicycle Collection will be conducted this Saturday, May 4th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Triangle Motors (1790 North Market Street, Frederick, Maryland). Bikes collected this year will be shipped to an NGO partner of Bikes For The World in the west African nation of Burkina Faso, where they will be reconditioned (creating jobs), and distributed for affordable transportation to schools, healthcare and employment.
