Summary

This photo is from 2005 and shows the members of the BHS English department.

For four years, students advance through required English classes. Other than the four basic English courses, students may also enroll in classes such creative writing or literature.

English involves more than developing the correct use of grammar and avoiding spelling mistakes.

English is a subject that teaches skills such as reading, writing, analysis and interpretation of literature benefits students no matter what they decide to pursue in life after they have left high school.

Of these teachers, only J.T. Elier is still currently teaching at Brunswick in 2019
