Summary
First photo we've posted of the original roundhouse in Brunswick. This was likely taken around the turn of the twentieth century.
The roundhouse was replaced as part of the 1907 infrastructure improvement that included the YMCA and the west half of the yard. Locomotives were getting larger and the original roundhouse would have quickly been growing obsolete with a turntable much too small for the newer engines.

Reuben Moss: I believe it was part of the 1907 infrastructure improvement that included the YMCA and the west half of the yard (if you notice at the right, the original eastbound mainline followed the track that cuts across by WB Tower). Locomotives were getting larger and this roundhouse would have quickly been growing too small with a turntable much too small for the newer engines.
