Summary

Sad photo from the bridge of what appears to have been after the 1959 consolidation of its freight yard operations to Cumberland led to the B&O shifting many Brunswick jobs with it. This is the location of the "Town Between The Tracks".

The old Gross store is visible in the left foreground on S. Maryland Avenue. The original American Legion in the old Waltman farmhouse is at the bottom of S. Maple Avenue along with the passenger station and the YMCA further up on E. Potomac Street.

The west end roundhouse operations remained in Brunswick for another 20 years or more.
