Ronnie Pearl: I just finished looking it up Petey was pitching for Frederick in 67 him and Gary Carter pitched no hitters that year, Gary's was against TJ. I watched one game when Gary and Petey battled against each other Petey later was drafted in with Cincinnati Reds Gary was drafted also but don't remember who.
Smoketown History (Brunswick, Md.) Gary Carter pitched 2 no-hitters as a Little Leaguer. He was drafted in the 21st round of the 1967 amateur draft by the old Washington Senators. He got as far as AAA.
