Summary

Perhaps Brunswick's greatest little league pitcher, lefthander Gary Carter threw 2 no-hitters as a Brunswick Little Leaguer with the Cubs in the early 1960s. This picture appeared in the 6/22/61 Blade Times after Gary no-hit the Lions as an 11-year-old. His first no-hitter was against the Bears.

Gary went on to pitch for 4 years in the old Washington Senators' system from 1967-70. He advanced as high as AAA in 1969.
