Mrs. Edna Robinson Holland holding 2 Brunswick children she helped raise--Artist Ann Wenner Osteen and Judge William W. Wenner. This photo was taken on the front porch of the Wenner homeplace on N.Maple Avenue in 1935.

According to Linda Smallwood Fisher, Mrs. Holland's family came to Brunswick from the Lucketts, Virginia area around the turn of the 20th century. Mrs. Holland and several members of her family worked for 3 generations of Wenners. She was married to David Emanuel Holland, longtime custodian of the B&O YMCA.
