Summary

Ebenezer AME Church, 720 North Maple Avenue. John Hammond on the left. Can anyone tells us who is on the right?

(Credit Brunswick history Commission)

Steve Moore: I remember going to picnics at my Uncle Red's across the street from this church as a little kid. You could hear the music and singing but then the doors would open and people came pouring out. Singing, clapping and dancing. It was surprising so many people could fit in that church. A cherished childhood memory.
