Summary

What was going on here? This was the CAP Civilian Air Patrol. According to Jackie Ebersole, “I believe this location is out on Scheer Stadium property near where the dugout is on the third base side of Little League Field. Those people monitored the skys for planes when I was really young. I believe my neighbor Ann Malone did it and I remember the little building on a slight rise in the ground near the swimming pool. Jim Main was in charge, I think.”

Jacquelyn Ebersole: I believe this location is out on Scheer Stadium property near where the dugout is on the third base side of Little League Field. Those people monitored the sky's for planes when I was really young. I believe my neighbor Ann Malone did it and I remember the little building on a slight rise in the ground near the swimming pool. Jr. Main was in charge, I think.
