Summary

This child pictured around 1900, is Marie Harrington. Miss Harrington was well known along with her sister, Maude Harrington Custer, for operating the M&M Market for many years on West Potomac Street in the building next to Kaplon's.

The sisters were well-known and loved in Brunswick for their homemade sweets. Miss Marie made all flavors of fudge.

She worked at White's Market next to the People's Bank and later JJ Newberry's before opening the family store.
