Summary
Not the 1st ambulance in Brunswick, but maybe the best? Seeing the 1961 Superior/Cadillac out in front of the Brunswick Volunteer Ambulance & Rescue Company on W. Potomac Street was a staple of growing up in Brunswick in the Sixties.
The land on where this building stands was sold to the Ambulance Company by Mrs. William B. Wenner (Eleanor) for about $500. It was the longtime site of Wenners' City Meat Market.
