Summary

Ann Wenner learning to ride while pulling a plow under a watchful eye on the family farm in the early 1940s. Across Petersville Road, which was then a narrow dirt road, is the old Shafer farm that was razed to make way for MD Rt. 17 in 1964.

In the distance is the familiar slope of Rosemont Drive before many homes were built.

Does anyone recognize the man in charge of the horses?
