Summary

Marie Sigler Pearrell on the steps at Brickyard Hill. She was the daughter of Myrtle and Dewey Sigler, Sr. She lived in the house at the top of the hill. Dewey Sr bought the house at 413 Second Avenue in the 1920's. Myrtle and Dewey Sigler Sr had 7 children, Dewey Jr, Tommy, Paul (Froggy), Donald, Marie, Elaine and Mary.

Dewey Sr later bought the house at 411 Second Avenue. He sold the house at 413 to his son Thomas Sr in the early 1960's and sold the house at 411 to his daughter Marie also in the early 1960's. When Marie's house burned down, Tommy Jr rebuilt a house on 411 Second Avenue.

Dewey Sr was a conductor on the railroad and all his sons were in the construction business. The sons had a crew and of course they named it Sigler Brothers. Many houses in Brunswick were either built or remodeled by the brothers.

I'm collecting more history to be added shortly. Stay tuned and check back.
