Summary
Ruins of the G.A. Townsend manor house Gapland Hall, at Gathland in the 1940s. It was an eleven-room house, built in 1885. After Townsend's death, Gapland changed hands three times before it was acquired by the Department of Forests and Parks and named as a state park in 1949.
