Summary
B&O Seniority Roster Booklet 1937, with feature advertising from S. and N. Katz, makers of the Official Railroad Watch. Standard railroad watch inspections were made mandatory in North America in 1893 in the wake of the Great Kipton Train Disaster of 1891.
This artifact was found in a box at an estate auction. S. and N. Katz occupied a prominent location on the Square Corner across from the Bank of Brunswick for many years. It was successfully operated for a lot of them by community leader and city councilman Frank Miglio.
