Summary

This photo is from 1983 and shows four of the finest secretaries/aides I had the pleasure working with while at Brunswick Hugh School. Though each of them had their own unique personalities, they also shared some outstanding characteristics that made them positive assets to the school whether it was interacting with students, teachers, administrators, or parents. They always seemed to have a smile on their face and enjoyed a good joke even though at times they were the target of the humor. If given a task, one could always count of the task being completed in a competent and timely manner. Also they were always willing to help even if the task asked of them did not fall under their official duties. In terms of my enjoyment of working at Brunswick these four ladies were the icing on the cake. As I have stated before probably the most important people in a school that can make a teacher’s life more manageable are the secretaries and aides. I know there was many a time when Bobbi Lane, Geraldlene Sigler, Linda Lucas, and Shirley Wilson made my teaching life at BHS much more manageable.
