Summary

Never thought we would happily announce...Ally has been adopted!

We have enjoyed reading all of the posts so far honoring our young adults and 2020 BHS Seniors. So we would like to introduce you all to Ally (Alexandra) Cook. Ally has truly grown in her time at BHS. She is an avid Volleyball player, played her 4 years in HS and also played Club VB for 5 years. She played many positions in those years and was very proud this year to set the record for Most Kills and based on this season now holds the school record for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place in that category. Their Club season was cut short this season and the team had earned a bid to Nationals in Reno, Nevada. Truly bittersweet and so disappointing along with so many other milestones these Seniors are missing. Ally enjoys playing the piano and took lessons for years. She is a conscientious student and member of the NHS. She juggled her studies as a dual enrollment student, along with her sports and working at Dunkin in Jefferson. She will attend Coastal Carolina University (Corona willing🤞🏻) this fall and takes 21 college credits with her. Ally enjoys shopping at Francesca’s and American Eagle and enjoys a treat from Cafe Rio and Dunkin when she is ‘splurging’. Her parents Ross and Leslie Boswell Cook and older sister Taylor will miss her tremendously. Ally will likely miss Kenji and Aya (our pups) more. We are so proud of our youngest baby, the strides she has made and challenges she continues to face. She had been a T1Diabetic since she was 4 years old. We have always said she was “fiercely independent”. We know that she will also miss her family, friends, teachers, and community.
