Summary
This is Dr. Fred Brown, a Brunswick native and BHS graduate Class of 1944, who earned his A.B. from then Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College). He taught at BHS from 1947-56 before he was promoted to principal for the 1956-57 school year after Harold Knott moved on.
Dr. Brown later earned his doctorate in education at Columbia University in 1962 before he was appointed Supervisor of Frederick County High Schools.
