Summary

This photo is from the 1999-2000 BHS Yearbook and show the members of the Pep Band. Over the years, Brunswick has had some pretty amazing Pep Bands who brought "pep" to many a sporting event, especially basketball games. Often the musical enthusiasm these bands brought to a game in support of a BHS team matched the physical enthusiasm displayed by the athletes playing in the game. Along with cheerleaders, the Pep Band could get the home crowd wound up and roaring in support of the athletes, and although this in itself does not win games it certainly must have a positive impact on the players psyche whether it is at a conscious or an unconscious level. Even as I write this I can hear in my mind a musical tune that goes "…………. BHS" ;=)!
