Summary
The gentleman on the left was Mr. Charles Compher, who at the time lived with his daughter Evelyn Compher Donovan on West B Street. The man on the right is unidentified. Mr. Compher had been a Lovettsville farmer and passed away in 1978 just shy of his 102nd birthday. The farm is now known as “Hiddencroft Vinyards”. The photo was likely taken in the mid-1970s.
