Almost looks like the infrastructure of a roller coaster.
According to Rick Buracker: They still use this concept today for stone grain, lime, etc. They are using gravity to put coal in the steam engines coal tenders. Coal cars have pockets underneath them open up the pockets then goes into a dumper then they lower the shoots and put in coal tenders. Those tracks are still there. Stand in front of the Moose look straight over on the riverside of the tracks that's where it was.
